The Di Jameson Family Foundation (DJFF) was established by Di Jameson OAM to support emerging musicians and the organisations that nurture them across Australia.

The Foundation invests in structured pathways, regional access, mentorship, and the long-term conditions that allow musical talent to grow. DJFF is committed to thoughtful, collaborative philanthropy with a focus on early-stage development and sustained impact.

Australian Young Composer Program (AYCP) is an inaugural grant partnership recipitant. This National High School Composer Pilot supports the development of emerging composers at a critical and often underserved stage of their careers.

Among the Foundation’s other inaugural grant partnerships are:

  • Australian Festival of Chamber Music – Pathways Pre-Tertiary Program: DJFF’s investment underpins a new stream within the AFCM’s established Pathways Program, delivered in collaboration with Musica Viva’s Strike a Chord, extending structured development opportunities to younger musicians – including those in regional communities.
  • Melbourne Chamber Orchestra – Storytellers Program: Wurrtoo!: Connecting musical storytelling with Indigenous cultural narratives to expand artistic and cultural access for young audiences and participants.
  • State Opera South Australia – Resident & Emerging Artists Program: Creating structured pathways for early-career singers and performers within a professional company environment.
